BigRep IPSO 105: Industrial 3D Printer at a Competitive Price

The IPSO 105 delivers an unbeatable price-to-performance ratio, making it the ultimate all-rounder for high-temperature, high-performance 3D printing.

Key Features:
✅ Full-Scale 3D Printing: The 105-liter build volume (400 x 600 x 440 mm) bridges the gap between desktop and industrial systems. Rigid mechanics, encoders, and industrial-grade components ensure accuracy even in long print jobs.

✅ High-Performance Parts: A 100°C chamber, 140°C print bed, and 450°C extruders create a thermally stable environment. This ensures strong layer bonding, dimensional accuracy, and compatibility with a wide range of engineering polymers.

✅ Open Material System: Print with any compatible filament, whether from BigRep or another third-party supplier, and open the door to new applications without additional license fees.

✅ Continuous Carbon Fiber: The BigRep IPSO 105 can reinforce parts with Continuous Carbon Fiber, enabled through BigRep’s partnership with Endless Industries.

✅ Two Reliable DSX Extruders: Dual DSX extruders include integrated cooling and multiple sensors for continuous monitoring. Relay Mode automatically switches to the second extruder when filament runs out.

✅ Fully Automated Quick Start: The IPSO 105 handles calibration automatically through topology measurement and compensation. Integrated sensors maintain stable operation, and the HD camera provides real-time remote monitoring.

✅ Dry Material Storage: A sealed dry-storage chamber protects materials from moisture. Room for two filament spools keeps ABS, ASA, PC, and PEKK in optimal condition. As part of the Open Material System, it gives full freedom in material choice.

Making Brakes fit for Euro 7 - Brake Disc coating with Cold Spray Technology

Mehr Infos unter: https://impact-innovations.com/anwendungsbeispiele/kaltgasgespritzte-bremsscheib/ --- Brake wear emissions, encompassing brake dust and particulate matter, have emerged as a mounting concern for the automotive industry in light of stricter environmental regulations set by the EU. Brake discs predominantly originate from gray cast iron infused with embedded graphite. These gray cast iron brake discs not only offer cost-effective manufacturing but also encompass the essential mechanical attributes required. While no other material currently matches the cost efficiency of gray cast iron for vehicle brake discs, coating such discs provides a practical and budget-friendly solution. However, traditional thermal coating methods remain costly in terms of both materials and expenses, and they are unable to consistently meet the required criteria for coating adhesion, corrosion resistance, and resistance to cracking. In contrast, the cold spray process, unlike laser cladding, is unencumbered by patent restrictions from any major automotive manufacturer.
