Burning cat and burning boat: 3D printing Flame Retardant Tests 2020

We have tested ABS flame retardant, ABS and PLA for flame retardant properties. Rods, the cat and the boat were printed with the HAGE3D 84L. The rods got flamed for 10 seconds each. Spoiler: PLA and ABS didn't make it, ABS flame retardant worked. Conclusion: Flame retardant really works. Even the strongly burning boat survived the flames and it even retained its original shape - apart from a temperature-related collapse at the front! #CreatePrintApply
