TUMmesa – Ecological Research on Climate Change

At the TUMmesa research facility, scientists of the TUM School of Life Sciences investigate the effects of climate change on ecosystems. With the valORTree project, they are going on a time travel into the future: In eight climate chambers, trees are exposed to influences that can be expected in about 100 years. The focus here is on ground-level ozone. The project is funded by the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA), which wants to create an ozone risk assessment. ► Further information https://www.wzw.tum.de/index.php?id=30&L=1 http://www.tummesa.de/en/home/ https://www.oekophys.wzw.tum.de/en/research/ongoing-projects/valortree/ ► Follow TUM!
