Extensive satellite data show sea-level rise in the Arctic

Climate change is having a particularly strong impact in the Arctic. A research group from the Technical University of Munich and the Technical University of Denmark has now been able to re-evaluate the available measurement data from radar satellites of the arctic sea-levels. Using newly developed algorithms, they were able to evaluate also sea level data from below ice surfaces. The study provides the most comprehensive and accurate data set of its kind to date.
