Finishing Toolpaths Exclude Flats - PowerMill 2022.0

The release of PowerMill 2022 sees an improvement that permits the automatic exclusion of planar surfaces from certain finishing toolpaths, so that they can be machined separately. This allows the steeper regions of models to be machined with, for example, ball-nosed tools and letting the planar surfaces be machined with flat bottom tools later. This new option is available for Steep and Shallow, Raster and 3D Offset toolpaths, and should reduce programming effort and increase efficiency.
